Dr. Frances M. Hollembaek
Dr. Fran grew up in southeastern Massachusetts about 40 miles south of Boston. There she developed a love for the outdoors, culture and art, traveling, and athletics. She earned an academic and athletic scholarship to Mercyhurst College, a small liberal arts institution, where she completed her undergraduate studies in Business Administration with an emphasis in Marketing. It was not until her early twenties did she discover the amazing benefits of chiropractic care. While considered in “good health” by most standards, it was about her sixth week of treatment when she noticed all of her recurrent sinus and digestive issues resolved. Soon after, her stress and anxiety levels dropped enabling a deeper, more rejuvenating sleep and boundless energy. She felt extraordinary, and she knew that chiropractic was responsible for the all-around positive change. After making this correlation, she left her current career to pursue her doctorate in Chiropractic and has been part of this non-invasive healing art since.
After relocating to Kansas City, Dr. Fran coached varsity field hockey at Notre Dame de Sion, while attending Cleveland Chiropractic College. After graduation, she developed a strong, family-wellness, practice treating infants suffering from colic, sleep disturbances and digestive conditions, children with ear infections, asthma and scoliosis to adults with headaches, joint and back pain, osteoarthritis, spinal disc conditions, allergies, asthma and digestive issues. Wellness is a holistic approach to understanding your health, based on the belief that physical, emotional and environmental factors all play a role in how you feel. Wellness isn’t invasive; and it isn’t about medicating or masking a symptom. It’s about looking deep to uncover the root factors contributing to ailments, and making choices to achieve better balance. Wellness is a lifestyle, a life choice and a life line. Through regular chiropractic care, proper nutrition, and body movement, “wellness” is well within reach and Dr. Fran cannot wait to guide you along the way.
Out of the office, Dr. Fran loves to unwind to prana flow yoga and photography. She also feeds her adventurous spirit traveling to new places as often as possible. Her family resides in the Kansas City area, as does she just south of the plaza. Dr. Fran loves sharing the gift of health with everyone she encounters and looks forward to meeting you!

Dr. Lehi B. Swan
Dr. Lehi Swan was born and raised in Manhattan, Kansas. He received his Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Kansas State University in 2003 and his Doctorate of Chiropractic degree from Cleveland Chiropractic College in 2007. Dr. Lehi joined the Chiropractic Wellness Center in early 2020 and is excited to be part of their mission to positively impact the health and wellness of the Kansas City community.
Dr. Lehi was very active in many sports growing up. His first Chiropractic experience was in high school when he pinched a nerve in his neck and could not move his arm. Traditional medical approaches only lessened the pain. After days of misery, his parents took him to the Chiropractor and the doctor adjusted the base of his neck and shoulder. Almost instantly, he had the function of his arm back. Amazingly his pain from the pinched nerve was gone and he could turn his neck normally again. This made a lasting impression on Dr. Lehi as he saw firsthand and felt the power of Chiropractic and how it can heal the body naturally. It was this memorable experience that built the foundation of Dr. Lehi’s belief that Chiropractic can restore functional movement to a patient. He deeply believes in keeping the body balanced with Chiropractic at its core.
Dr. Swan brings his extensive training and 13 years of clinical experience successfully treating a wide range of conditions to the CWC provider team. He is formally trained in many Chiropractic Techniques; Diversified, Thompson, Flexion-Distraction, Sacro-Occipital (SOT), Activator Methods, Extremity Protocols and CranialSacral Therapy. He is also certified in Functional Rehabilitative Therapy, Graston Technique, Kinesiotaping Methods, Dynamic Neuromuscular Stabilization, Dry Needling and is a Certified Nutritional Consultant.
Dr. Lehi understands every patient is unique and may require different techniques to help them achieve optimal health. This led him to study many different approaches and to continue learning so he can successfully help every patient he sees. He has a passion for health and looks forward to educating and helping patients of all ages.
When you have a visit with Dr. Lehi, you will find a detailed, exceptional adjuster, an attentive, thorough physician and a compassionate, humble chiropractor.
